The Yonkers Promise is a partnership between Yonkers Public Schools and 喵咪社区 designed to help make college more accessible.
As a Yonkers Promise Scholar, you鈥檒l have a streamlined path to admission to Mercy once your eligibility is confirmed. If you qualify, you鈥檒l also receive a merit scholarship. And after you file the FAFSA, the Yonkers Promise will meet your full financial need, up to the program鈥檚 commuter direct-cost limit.
How it Works

Confirm your eligibility
Connect with your high school or school counselor to confirm that you鈥檙e eligible for the Yonkers Promise.

Complete the Consent Form
Submit the Yonkers Promise Consent Form through Yonkers Public Schools.

Receive your provisional acceptance
Mercy will confirm your participation and provide your provisional acceptance.

Submit your confirmation
Complete the confirmation form included with your provisional acceptance letter.
- 5
Receive your formal acceptance
Once your eligibility and required materials are confirmed, you鈥檒l receive your formal acceptance to Mercy.

Submit your FAFSA
File your FAFSA to unlock the financial support available through the Yonkers Promise.
